Once upon a time in the blog-sphere
In 2013, when social media was not quite so advanced and widely used as today, people often used blogs (the word came from a contraction of "web-log") to share thoughts with others and invite an online conversation. At the time I was a freelance builder of websites; and a blog seemed a good way to express some ideas that didn't plan to stay locked in my little grey cells. These ideas were all to do with Age Changeover.
To blog or not to blog
The blog was duly written but clearly wasn't nearly so popular as cute photos, outrage at politicians, social gossip or funny stories. As a result it languished for years and became what a colleague cleverly called "a cob-web". Once or twice I was tempted to pull the plug on the whole idea, but that never seemed quite right. Even after I stopped using the old "Blogger" platform, I held onto the blog and believed it worthwhile - but for what?.
A blast from the past
The blog is still in its original form and I believe, still has some kind of authenticity. You be the judge. But as it is now no longer in its birthed environment, please note that none of the internal links will work, though hopefully the external ones will remain valid. Also, when you see an "Error 404" notification at the top of the page - just ignore it.
Go here to see the blog page in a new tab/new window.
When you have finished reading the blog page, you can simply delete that window and continue to view this website.
